Addressing the urgent demand for flexible, secure, and inclusive academic environments in ASEAN, this study proposes the IoT-Enabled Smart Cubicle, a model for adaptive workspaces that integrates IoT devices, networked infrastructure, and user-centred design. The project aims to prototype a system combining physical modularity with real-time sensing and secure ICT layers to enhance productivity, security, and digital well-being within higher education. By focusing on system-level architecture and adaptive control, the initiative serves as a scalable case study for 'ICT for a Secure and Smart Community', envisioning broader regional collaboration through shared testbeds and campus-wide integration to drive sustainable digital transformation across ASEAN institutions.
